Stroke Rehabilitation Program

    It is vital to remember that a stroke is a life-threatening situation requiring medical attention and treatment.  Just as important is a patient's commitment to recovering from the effects of a stroke and preventing a recurrence.

Our Stroke Rehab Program works because the patient, family and rehab team work together.

Family members must learn about impairments and disabilities caused by a stroke and how to help the patient achieve optimal function again.

Each program patient plan-of-care is different to meet individual needs.

The goal of our Stroke Rehab Program is to help the patient learn how to do things that he/she did befgore the stroke or how to adapt to limitations.

Rehabilitation does not reverse the effects of a stroke.  Its goals are to build strength, capability and confidence so that you can continue your daily activities despite the effects of the stroke.
